Dr. Peace Amadi, PsyD, is a Psychology & Research Professor, Author, and Speaker, who helps people heal and lead.

From leaders, entrepreneurs and influencers, to pastors, parents, and teachers, Dr. Peace is a support and cheerleader to the people in our lives that everyone goes to. 

She is the Author of The Wholehearted Way (releasing March 2026and Why Do I Feel Like This? in which she merges clinical insight, psychological research, and biblical insights to support readers on their journeys to healing, wholeness, and inner peace.

And she is the co-author of the ChiChi & Didi children’s book series, with Penguin Random House.

She’s a Professor of Psychology (ie. social psych, cultural psych, cognitive psych, physiological psych, dating and relationships, psych & religion, psych & law) and a Professor of Research at Houston Christian University in Houston, TX.

She’s a TED talk alum, having delivered a talk on the impact of social media on mental health. And she’s a recurring TV Host— her most recent work as a co-host on The Blend – a streaming, medical-based talk show co-hosted by four Black women doctors.

Her work is inspired by her own journey, as she speaks from both personal and professional experience about the importance of recognizing one’s pain, healing from it, and transforming it into purpose and power. 

A Southern Californian, residing in Houston, Texas, Dr. Peace has been featured live on ABC NEWS, CBN News, Newsy, as well as in Women’s Health, Essence, Blavity, Propel Women, Relevant Magazine, and numerous podcasts.
